Etisalat, Why This Unnecessary Scam? by debaj10: 2:49pm On Apr 26, 2013
Yesterday, I loaded N500 and etisalat informed me that I'd been given an 'extra' N750.
Oh, joy.
After a few calls and a few texts, I noticed that the SMS was being charged at N4.
I checked my credit to discover my new balance as N1023.
From N1250 and change?
Impossible.
Anyway, I needed to make a long call. I spent 2291 seconds (call information notice, not my own calculations), which cost a whopping N916.40.
So I do a simple calculation- N916.40/2291 secs= 40k/sec.
Which means I get only 50 mins from the N1250.
This is the same time from an easyflex 500, so who explain why etisalat is trying to 'maradona' it's subscribers?

Update:
Seems they've put a stop to the fake 'promo'.
I suspect customers displayed their anger.
