The recent ban on pasting of posters by the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola and the subsequent stringent regulations as well as increase in price of advertising in Lagos state(billboards, mobile advertising etc.) all raises new threats as well as opportunities for the Lagos business man, marketer and advertiser. Considering the book “who moved my cheese” by Spencer Johnson, many business men and professionals will be caught in the web of analysis, trying to analyze the political, social and economic drivers of the policy. Rather, the most realistic and effective thing to do is find other means of reaching their customers and prospects on other platforms. That’s why the focus of this article is the question “what next?

Yes, it is an offence to paste posters indiscriminately in Lagos state but you can still advertise your products and services through LASAA approved poster panels on all pedestrian bridges in lagos state. For more info call POSTER CONNECTION on: 08139458588, 08053408939

Posters have always been a nuisance and should be banned in the whole country. Mini solar powered electric notice boards should replace them. When the program being advertised has elapsed, another simply takes over.
