Folorunsho Alakija is the richest woman in Nigeria and the 2nd richest in Africa(formerly the richest)...i started believing the old adage that says ''The rich also cry'' after reading her interview with Sunday express.

Here's a Snippet from the interview below,

''My husband's mother was Igbo, while her dad was from the south-west here, and because of this, my mother in-law never wanted a yoruba woman to marry her son.

She was also not comfortable with my muslim background then. She wanted an Igbo daughter-inlaw, but my husband said it's me or nothing.

It was a tough battle until God finally prevailed....Whenever she wanted something from my husband and was not getting it immediately , she would start attacking me and saying i'm the one stopping her son from doing her biddings.

it was also an issue when she asked for a baby girl from me and i could not give her. i have four boys in my marriage....At some point, i was encouraged to fight back by my husband, but i refused and kept praying to God to change her. Despite my mother inlaw's opposition towards me, i made sure we took her to US and UK on holidays with us severally and kept showering her with unconditional love. My joy is that we settled before she passed on''

You are one hell of a lucky woman mummy.left to me,mummys boy is a no go area and any man still tied to mummy said i should..is also a no for me,any woman or family that does not approve of me marrying their son is a complete no matter the amount of convincing words i wont budge because when the chips are down, most men will attach to their mothers at the expense of their wife and kids..i deserve a man not a child in a man's body.many women are not so priviledged to have a husband like yours.big ups to you ma

This is the reason i blame men for most broken marriages, because if they stand by their wives, the word broken won't occur.

Madam billionaire, I like you so much and wouldn't want you to be in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Loving your husband and not picking an endless fight with his mother is the best kind of love you could give any mother in-law. Kudos to that.

So, stop telling us how much you love her by flying her to UK and US for vacation. I could afford to fly 100 old witches from my village if I waas a $billionaire too...not to talk of my mother in-law.

Am I the only one seeing this? ''My husband's mother was Igbo, while
her dad was from the south-west here. Thereby making her Mother In law a yoruba woman then.
