On my way back from work on thursday, our cab overtook a Toyota Hilux and i saw the word “Volvo” written all over it. Wetin concern Toyota and Volvo? I asked myself. It turns out the Hilux is registered to a Volvo serving company. It’s funny that a Volvo servicing company will use Toyota for its fleet. This got me thinking. • Are employees/partners/affiliates of companies really Loyal to their brands? • How do you explain a Pepsi Distributor drinking Coke? • Or a Pepsi van moving a Coke refrigerator/vending machine? • Why should an Apple Inc. manager’s Facebook post say ‘via Blackberry app’? • Does Mr. Jide Kosoko really drink chivita juice, or whiz kid and Tiwa drink Pepsi-when rozay dey there?lol • Imagine Don Jazzy advertising Loya Milk! Him dey drink am?lol Did you know that Ronaldinho Lost a Coke Endorsement for Drinking Pepsi?
