Traffic and commercial activities were Wednesday grounded to a halt in the three council area of Mbaise, Imo State following a massive protest by the priests and lay faithful of the Catholic diocese of Ahiara.The protesters comprising priests, men, women and children all adorned in black attires for the second time since the appointment of Bishop-elect, Monsignor Peter Okpalaeke, for the diocese of Ahiara took to the streets in rejection of the appointment.
