In Sapele town of Delta State,soldiers contracted to fight the ever increasing crime rate in the town beat a boy to death.
Sources said the boy was called by another cultist friend who had a grudge against the unsuspecting young man.The young man arrived at said location (Olympia) and was caught by soldiers and beaten to death after repeatedly fainting during the course of the beating.The other cultist is now on the run.
The boy was only son of his mother and father who is also a soldier posted to the north.The father had to come back to Sapele and is now working together with other soldiers to ferret out cultists armed robbers and the like.
Futhermore,a well known herbalist known for providing guns for robbers and charm for fraudsters and rapists was beaten to death after being shot repeatedly all to no avail in Ojulu close to Urban Area in sapele where most cultists and robbers dwell in Sapele
Citizens of the town have voiced their opinions as some feel the treatment being meted out was too extreme while others are in full support seeing as the crime rate was too much
Cultists are now on the run in Sapele,as the soldiers have declared full war on crime in Sapele.
