I remember being so sturbborn as a kid! My sisters and I, always commiting one crime or the other cheesy
My mum was a teacher (who believed in the "spare the rod and spoil the child" principle. Every crime you commit, you get the beats! grin
Someone told us in school, that if you want to make your parents stop beating you forever and ever....just faint while they're in the act! How do we achieve that By putting some cocoyam leaves and salt in your armpits while they're beating you! grin ; it failed woefully as not only the cocoyam leaves fell down, my mother just kept laughing hilariously and beat me the more! angry cheesy
Another theory was that if you want your parents to forget you commited a crime, pluck your eyebrows and put it in their shoes!!! cheesy grin we actually thought it worked! But when we had a conversation with my mum recently she said it wasn't that she forgot those crimes, she actually forgave us! grin

We are so tired of this Dettol Adverts, children now
believe there're Germs everywhere....

My 5 yr old Nephew goes around with a Dettol Can in
his pocket.
He Sprinkles his friends before he plays with them.....

Sprinkles his books before reading..... This morning, my Tea and Bread tasted awful...I took
a few sips n bites Before I realised my Nephew had
poured Dettol in my Breakfast to kill Germs....

If My Nephew Doesn't Kill Me, Who Will?

Happy Children's day

Old Ronger is dead and gone to his grave…

Uhm, ahh, gone to his grave

They planted a mango tree over his head…

Uhm, ahh, over his head

The mangoes grew ripe and ready to burst…

Uhm, ahh, ready to burst

There came a high wind to blow them all of…

Uhm, ahh, blow them all off

There came an old woman to pick them all up

Uhm,ah, pick them all up

Old Roger rose up and gave her a knock…

Agbo lives in the town of Lagoon which is not far from Ibadan. Every morning, he goes to school. He was in Primary four. Everyone liked Agbo because he was always happy and friendly. His father gave him a wristwatch and he was very proud of it. One day, he woke up late…

tai wo: Hi Guys, Now that we are old enough, we can reminisce on our childhood days, I remember this particularly time of the year every primary school will be on break now, my school would have recruited some of us for the march past (I wonder why not debate, or sm quiz, mayb cos we were in the military era) and we visited the LTV grounds for a display in front of Col. Buba Marwa... I never really made the squad tho.. I miss the days I won't wake up in d morning and the first thing on my head will be how to make money... My experiences r kinda boring share yours.. During the Festivities season (Eid, Christmas and New year) and my parents bought us new clothes and shoes, we'll always go to where they're kept to sneak a peek at it every thirty minutes! grin
Atimes, when my parents are not around or asleep, we might even wear them and invite our friends to come and look! cheesy cheesy
When resumption is near the corner and daddy has bought all the new books, shoes, uniforms and bags! We'll line them by the wall in each person's room and admire them! We'll arrange the books meticlously cheesy. Even wrap them with newspaper sef!
When its time for my birthday...I'll always sing..You know my birthday will soon be here o! I'll be the first person to wake up in the house that day! grin grin

scared of lightening and thunder (will always go and hide and will cry loud for help if no where to hide).
Thought that huge, tall people were not born by human (thought they fell down from heaven with same size).
Always imagining the story of the crucification to the extent that i tried nailing my palm till it pained.
Scared of the dead that i always remain indoors if someone is dead
I played and ate much then.
Never played with my school
All my teachers loved me so much
I love my Dad the more!
Growing up, real fun, lol!
