Hmm to my knowledge most traditional leaders hav to be accomodative and tolerant of all religions in his town cos of d diversity of religion most esp in yorubaland so he must perform traditional rites as a traditional ruler and if he wishes he can go on with other religion he is practising.if a person donot want to be involved in traditional rites why do he accept d post to ascend as a ruler.if d above is against d rules in christianity and islam then both foreign religions can both go to hell for all i care.this makes me remember one king like dat who deprived d community of performing his traditional rites, the man was beaten by angry youths and he was made to walk naked ot made nairaland front page then i donot feel pity 4 him cos he gets wat he deserves. |
