Dear good people of Nairalanders, I don’t know if it’s just me or people around me but I have noticed that most people I know in Lagos has been living in the same apartment for the past 20/30yrs yet there is no sign of moving.

Some even train their children from primary/high school/ till higher institute even go Yanky come back still parent are still living the same place, I really admire this though because you get to know other kids in the hood that you grew up together who later in life becomes part of our family if you know what I mean.

I particularly find it hard now especially in environment where new beautiful building springs up every time with amazing furniture and decoration etc.

My question is do you think this is a good living style or moving once in a while to an environment better than where you were before? Also what effect does it have on individual especially on kids?

Thanks for your contribution!

Its understandable if there's no money, unnecessary if there is.

However, to each his own. One doesnt know the circumstances behind every decision.
