Aproko247 can authoritatively report that Nigerian actress, Laide Bakare, has been delivered of a baby boy. The actress put to bed on Saturday morning (Nigerian time) in a New York hospital.

She updated her Blackberry Personal Message with, "yes, yes, yes, it's a boy. My boy arrived 7:45am in New York. Nice weather on Friday. Aliadulilai. I am the happiest person in the world."

Laide announced the crash of her marriage to her ex-husband, Olumide Okunfulire, in May 2013. She then secretly married Tunde Oriowo and travelled to the US few weeks ago.

She is expected back in Nigeria in few weeks time.
