Job description EPIK, English Program in Korea, sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, invites responsible, enthusiastic native English speakers to build a professional teaching career while sharing knowledge and culture with students and teachers in Korea.
Successful applicants will be required to conduct English conversation classes for Korean primary and secondary school students as part of the Korean government's aim to promote and strengthen English language education.

Positions : 401 teachers for September 2008 placement

Remuneration
Level 3 : 1.8 ~ 2.25 million won per month ($1,900 ~ $2,400)
Level 2 : 2.0 ~ 2.35 million won per month ($2,100 ~ $2,500)
Level 2+: 2.1 ~ 2.45 million won per month ($2,200 ~ $2,600)
Level 1 : 2.3 ~ 2.65 million won per month ($2,400 ~ $2,800)
Level 1+ : 2.5 ~ 2.85 million won per month ($2,600 ~ $3,000)

Hours : 8 Hours per day, 5 days per week
*Total instructional hours will not exceed 22 hours per week

Person requirements Applicants must :
- Hold a minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Be a citizen from a country where the primary language is English.
- Be fluent and proficient in the English language grammar and structure and be able to communicate fluently with clear and distinct pronunciation.
