i have follwed BBA from the outset with an increasing interest and now i humbly wish to urge and plead with All African Youths, let's ask DSTV to give Us a BBA where African Youths go and discuss, profer solutions and solve Problems. Where people can discuss about ERADICATING poverty, unemployment, diseases etc. Where Africans can believe in themselves, conceive ideas and achieve goals like the caucasians. We need programmes in form of a workshop where Enterpreneurship can be promoted. Programmes that can help tackle corruption in AFrica, Bad leadership, insecurity, kidnapping and money laundering NOT this morally loosed show where single parents who can't keep their r/ships go into the house to show their fallen breasts, drug addicts, porn stars , no mannered people mix up and get rewarded.
According to Dr. Sipho of daily trust, no African country has been able to achieve the complete MDGs for years now. This should be an African priority - sustainable development. Thus, such TV shows could create a differential forum for Africa development.
Haba! Having sex in the public with somebody who is not your spouse? We can make this the last of that valueless program. Initially, it was okay but recently sexual immorality has wriggled its ugly head into the show.

BBA sells immoral behaviours and attract lots of fans who enjoy it. They even prefer open sex every day. There is no single thing I learn from the programme, except promoting sex and immorality. Its time we ignore it.

How long does it take to imbibe a habit? 21 days and BBA runs for 90days, subtly making people addicts to bad habits and destroying the values we hold dear that has built out families & homes.

P.S: If there are no more values left in the world, let's strive to keep ours intact! Salvation is personal!

Say NO to TV shows without value, reality shows with rich immorality is a NO NO!. PLEASE REBROADCAST AND DROP YOUR VIEWS.
LET'S PUT HANDS ON DECK AND MAKE AFRICA A DREAM CONTINENT.....

I agree with the OP. I don't actually understand the objectives of BBA and how those objectives help development. However, I never complain because I am not forced to have DSTV at home and I have the freedom to "not activate" the channels dedicated to the programme. I also don't have to even watch the highlights on other channels.

Having said that, please don't view this thread and move on. like his post or reply the post to show your "voice" in this matter.

I support you. God bless you. The managers of DSTV are promoting satanism and illuminati. They are seeking for ways to touch and destroy all the lives of African's tomorow leaders. How can immorality and indecency be aired on TV and every body flood to watch it.

#onPoint# they are making serious money at the detriment of Africans. Imagine how much they make on just voting - N75 per vote times millions of Nigerians, yet the program is dead not educating. Rubbish people

A good piece though,but these enterprenuers don't have the interest of the youth at heart,its just PROFITS,PROFITS & PROFITS everyones knows that Sèx sells.. And that is exactly what BBA is doing,with the new introduction of the VIP package on there site where viewers have access to housemates shower hours & intimate activities.
Its time the African youths starts with a humble beginning,instead of awaiting GRANTS & SUPPORTS that ll never arrive..

The point is not just the money but the rationale behind the driving force of this programme.We hear WHO facilitators talk about combating STDs, HIV etc in Africa yet such reality shows make romance the order of the day in the house. Why won't this be a retardation in the good works UN/WORLDBANK/WHO/BRITISHCOUNCIL etc are carrying out to better AFrica

Then change the freaking chanel. Abi na neighbour window you dey peep watch am? Or your DSTV has 3 stations ni? You see my problem with self righteous people like you is that you are not morally better than any of the housemates, but you must be seen by the public to be a moral person. You must appear moral and sound moral and act moral, but yet in your closet you are as immoral as they come. TV is for information, education, relaxation and some people choose to relax by watching BBA, let them be. It is a show for adults. The world will be a boring place if the entire TV content is intellectual. Live and let live. Life is quite simple.

@Post

I don't watch big brother Africa reality show because I think the show is as trashy as most TV reality shows of nowadays. If more Africans stop watching the show, viewership will go down and producers will be forced to cancel the show. However, as long as people are watching the show, the producers won't cancel it. The entertainment industry is all about money and so they focus on what sells and that would be sex.
