What Is It?

The FreshMatic is a battery-powered automatic sprayer. It holds a specially designed can of AirWick air freshener, and can be set to spray every 9, 18, or 36 minutes

When you open the holder you see a switch that can be set to "off", or to 9, 18, or 36. The numbers represent the number of minutes you want in between sprays. To set up your system, first set the switch to "off". Then insert the two double A batteries (which are included).

Now insert the specially-shaped refill can. The can is very easy to insert as long as the internal nozzle is in the proper position. There is a diagram which shows you how this should look. If the mechanism isn't in the correct position then just use a pen or pencil to push it up. Once slid into the correct position, the nozzle should never have to be adjusted again.
