So I was scheduled to travel from Abuja to Calabar on a 10.30 am flight, which was rescheduled backwards twice eventually to 9.25 a.m.

Ok, we finally left Abj at 9.45am and got to Calabar about 10.30a.m.....then story starts o....we
are told we will hover in the air for about 15 minutes to allow the weather clear over....45 minutes later, landing is aborted, we feel the plane speeding up in the opposite direction and pilot announces that we are headed back to Abuja ...there appears to be an inability to communicate with the Calabar airport.

Sooo, now have just landed in Abuja, pilot says we have to wait till the rain in Abuja stops. We have disembarked in the pouring rain back to the departure lounge which is overcrowded.

I will keep you updated on next steps....(meanwhile I called home and my daughter asks if I'm coming back home then

Ur own is better,a collegue missed one day of his workshop bc of these yeye airlines. What's d name again..luftansa.2 days at d airport and an international airline! will dey do that in another country? Just enter motor abeg if u can.

Thanks people, landed Calabar 6p.m! Me, that had been planning a leisurely day away from household and family chores before my activity starts in the morning!
