Where is Naija Ninja, Sound Sultan on that list? He is one of the few with a message.

2. Asa- highly creative and deep.
3. Sound sultan-dude is talented and turns good messages into good songs.

Last is Davido- i am yet to understand what he is doing in the music industry. He should be an artist manager or label owner instead.

If anyone is placing 2face in any position apart from numba 1,then there's a problem. He's miles ahead of d rest. I wonder what Dbanj is doing at d numba 1 spot.He should occupy d 9th position.

All these are rated based on song quality, message and song longevity. What d rest of u are posting up there are based on how danceable their music is. In that case, dnt forget Terry G and timaya.

I listen to music from my heart. I have no particular order but in terms of quality melody, lyrics and vocal ability Asa, 2face, Dare, Banky W, Lagbaja, Djinee, Nneka. In terms of melody and beats, J Martins, Flavour, Bracket, Wizboy and Kcee. In terms of videos, P-Square is numero uno , Olu Maintain, D'banj, Banky W, Dare.


Sunny Ade and Femi Kuti are true African musicians and their genre is purely African. They should be outside the list. We have a lot of real artists in their line like Dan Maria Jos, Late Osadebe, Late Rex Jim Lawson, Late Sir Warrior, Victor Uwaifo etc.

I think something is really wrong with all of you!!!! Putting up a musical list without M.I on it? Lemme ask y'all fellass, which nigerian artist can compose a good lyrical song compare to M.I All d list above are just based on dance-able songs not good lyrical songs!............
