According to reports, a young lady has been allegedly subjected to a bout of physical abuse after it was discovered that she had stolen a Blackberry Bold5 phone and other items.

Students' reports revealed that she has been suspected of being behind previous thefts taking place in the female hostel, and her fellow roommates decided to catch her in the act.

A friend intentionally left her phone carelessly in the room and went to have her bath. The thief, on noticing this tok the ohone and locked it in her wardrobe. When the owner of the phone returned, she noticed her phone was missing then she and fellow roommates proceeded to ask the accused if she took the phone. She denied this.

After doing a room search, the alleged thief was asked to open her wardrobe. At first she was reluctant and refused to open it. Then they decided to dial the phone number and everyone was in shock to hear it vibrating in the thief's wardrobe.
