Well, it would depend on how well they do it. For a start the wipers have to be changed otherwise driving in heavy rain is hell. Then the bonnet catch needs to be moved to the other side. If the original driver's seat has peculiar adjustments, you might lose them when you convert cos they may not change the seats. It is a ? of how much comfort you can go without.
Additionally sometimes the steering doesn't "cut" very well- at least I experienced that many years ago.

like the dude said ,it depends on where it was done and the engineers that did it,for instance a honda dealership in naij will do a better job that ladipo mechanic,also the first set of conversions in a couple of years ago were generally not being done that well but the mechanics/engineers have improved a lot and most of it is near perfect,3 vehicles has been converted in my house in lagos and they were a perfexct job,in fact the mechanic came with the whole parts needed and did the whole thing in a couple of days one a prado,a honda civic and a mercedes benz bus,they are all driving perfectly and no problems several years later,i think the main problem is the re wiring,i.e when they try to cut costs, instead of buying the whole dashboard with the wiring and everything,some will try to connect the mass of wires individuallly and then try to cut and work the incomplete dashboard to fit which brings problems later

Hey running away from such cars,stability can never be the same again, you need engineers to access the stability of the car in motion. Believe me that car will tumble at speed and killĀ  you or your family, it doesnt worth it.

@poster
if it is done right,there s absolutely no danger at all,dont forget the car was assembled at some point and stuck together at the plant,as long as it is done right then u dont have any fears, for instance the honda dealership on adeniyi jones will give u a ten years guarantee on their converion, might be more expensive than ladipo but at least u know that nothing will happen and its as good as a non conversion, lets face it the original people that assembled the cars abroad are not gods they are human beings like nigerian engineers

If Honda dealer can give you warranty you might be wanna try, that is if anything happen the will be liable, meaning the know what the are doing, but talking abt ladipo boys, you are singing your death warrant, believe me! I have worked in an car assembly plant before, it take alot to push a car out there on the street.
