America predict it and they are making sure it come to past, why nigeria won't disintegrate in 2015 if the most lucrative sector, which is politics don't have enough to pay our senator, 1billion for food in aso rock, our governor don't have security vote, etc Those men will instigate more crises in this country more than this. 1 Like |

Well nigeria is currently dependent on oil but if oil prices fall nigeria will still survive. Why? Nigerians are go getters we'd get another means of survival. It's just our nature. Btw sigapore has little mineral resources and they are not dead. www.akinmail..com |

oluwatunmishe: expantiate on dis plssThe pressure on oil-producing communities and the greed and avarice-induced atrocities committed in the name of resource control might abate/subside. The over-dependence on crude and the desperation that emanates from thence will ebb. Pro-active governments will diversify economy if they hope to remain above water. However, i don't see Oil ever becoming a pedestrian commodity; No matter by how much the price drops, it will still be a very important commodity and source of income to governments around the world. The law of demand and supply will only make us sit up, really. That is what i mean by "respite". The CABAL's power will reduce, albeit marginally. 1 Like |

We all know development will continue, alternative to crude oil will evolve and hence market share will drop. someone should remind our naija leaders that change is constant and they should explore other avenue for revenue generation. |

Btw sigapore has little mineral resources and they are not dead.Oh yes, man must wack. But it takes good leaders to make a country like Singapore. Do you know that oil is just focused as the revenue, and the leaders are looting money from other sources? NPA,NAA, FIRS, CUSTOMS, IMMIGRATION, NEPA and so many agencies are generating very huge revenue to the government but the government is only shouting oil. No wonder the NPA bosses are usually the PDP'S bigwigs- the proceeds from there is used to finance the party. |
