If you have a job that pays than it can be ok.
Very many russians live on poverty line.

For a non russian speaking black person it can be hell.

Russia is a great place to live if ............1] if u have patience to learn the language.2] if u sturdy in there university and obtain a paper qualification.3] Russias influence in both eastern and western europe is unrivaled as they supply gas to most of east and western europ, nobody messes with them.3] there economy is rock solid as they have the largest deposite of oil, gas and other solid minerals in t'he whole of europe and asia, pls note that russia is in two continents, Asia and europe! 4] t'he whole of europe is facing strong economic recession but russias economy is strong and robust! 5] t'he seeming controversy around russia is spornned by t'he west because russia will not subject their resourses to pillage just like what shell, cheveron and total etc are doing in Niger delta. Finally you will agree with me that no place like home[ your own contry] but if you put head down and live within t'he acceptable laws in russia u will turn out okay! 2cent from a man that have lived younder b4!

I will not recommend Russia to my worst enemy. As a black person, you are 1 million times better off in Nigeria than in Russia. Go to Russia and you can get killed because of the color of your skin. You better rethink your decision of considering Russia.
