Our Client a multinational is in need of qualified candidates for the following positions

Position : IT Support (On Call Help Desk Operators)

Employment Type: Contract (8 Months)

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years work experience of Information Technology.
Ability to demonstrate Company values.
Must have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any related field.
Strong understanding of MS Office applications and Windows Operating Systems.
Must have excellent phone manners.
Must be customer orientated.
Highly effective inter-personal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at different levels and from different cultures and backgrounds.
Flexibility and ability to respond quickly and adequately to new sets of priorities.
Excellent team player.
Strong problem solving skills.
Familiar with working within an ITIL environment – (added advantage).


Responsibilities
Ensure all reported Incidents are properly logged/categorized into the Issues Tracking Tool (Magic).
Ensure all allocated incidents are resolved within the agreed SLA.
Check and process requests received from Self Service/Phone & Email.
Ensure that unresolved incidents and problems are timely escalated to 2nd Level Support.
Ensure that targeted Customer Satisfaction Rating is achieved.
Provide remote access support.
Coach the user community on IT tools to improve their productivity.
Develop self in any of the core service areas for career development and efficiency.
Successfully execute appropriate task assigned.
