Hey guys, I need a little help here.
I just bought a Sony Ericsson k800i and Im trying to configure the internet settings, but with no luck . I tried the settings on the mtn site, and it doesnt work. I also tried the Sony Ericsson website, but did not get much help there.
Is there anyone here that is familiar with the phone who could help me out?
THe setting I used were:

Account Name = MTN GPRS
IP Address = 10.199.212.2
Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML)
Username = web
Password = web
Access Point Name (APN) = web.gprs.mtnnigeria

or variants of this (eg making the DNS the same as the IP)

Any help appreciated!

@overt4sure,you don't need registration code for that opera. All you need to do is to download d registered one from a good site. Try downloading from their main site or visit sharemobile.ro

For GPRS,WAP and MMS settings,write SETTINGS in an SMS and send to 3888.To get MTNfastmail settings,write MTNFASTMAIL and send to 3888.Unlike zain,MTN is very responsive and u'll recieve the settings in a jiffy and all u have to do is install the settings.

By the way,nice phone u've got there.It aint bad for a java phone.

@ last poster, who told u zain won't. Just wanna let u know they wil. No one should ask me how cos i won't answer. I think d speed for zain now is ok. I don't want any traffic on it.
