Anyway, I prefer knorr sha. knorr is really the taste maker. I use maggi crayfish flavour only when I'm making soups and porridges. I even mix it with knorr cubes. But stews, jollof rice, fried rice spags is knorr chicken and a little knorr cubes.

OP, please correct the title of this thread. You are committing brand suicide. There is nothing like "Knorr Cube Maggi". Maggi is a brand name for Nestle's seasoning cube while Knorr is Cadbury's brand. Abeg o!

I DON'T BELIEVE A GOOD SEASONING SHOULD HAVE A VERY SHARP TASTE as Maggi does.
ROYCO has a taste I do not get...makes one wanna spit it out when tasted.
KNOOR on the other hand has a normal taste, and 'quietly' complements your delicacy without the screaming flavor of maggi or the almost bland flavor of royco.
And it's taste is great.

I prefer both seasoning,i use maggi for jollof,fried rice,porridge and also in seasoning my meat and fish and i use knorr to prepare my soup b'cos it is not salty like maggi.

Well i prefer knorr chicken. But even the ordinary knorr is still far better than maggi star. I hate dat seasoning like shit! If u use half of a cube, come back and check the remaining half some hours or a day later, the thing don turn to water. Very irritating. And it makes ur soup or whatever ur cooking to look darker dan normal.

Lol, the fact that you had to call Knorr 'Knorr Cube Maggi' should tell you a lot. It's as taboo as calling 'Pepsi' 'Coke'. The owners of the Knorr brand will definitely not be happy with you right now .

Usually, the market leader becomes the name of the category. Bic or Biro now means pen. Google now means search (It's even a verb - "Google it!".

All the other noodles in the market are called Indomie because Indomie is the market leader (with 60% market share or there about).

It doesn't matter really. The market leader is always the 'better' brand.

There's no way in hell I can possibly tell that a particular meal was prepared with either Maggi or Knorr, but I am to go to the market, I will pick Maggi 100% of the time BECAUSE I've known Maggi from 200 years when I was a baby.

Blind taste tests results show that people prefer Pepsi to Coke...but when the labels are on; the majority goes with coke. Weird huh??
