A multinational FCMG Company with presence in Nigeria is seeks to recruit people for the following positions. [/color]

[color=#000099]I. Job Title: Sales & Operation Manager


Purpose of the Job:
1. Develop and manage the operations and the sales and distribution of the company’s product via different channels within the country by growing both volume & image through proper execution of the availability, visibility, & brand standards.
2. Exhibit the ability to manage a dynamic sales & distribution team with the ultimate goal to increase customer base through continuous development, coaching and training of the team, developing the alternative channels and aggressive trade marketing and merchandising execution.

Key Activities:
1. Develop an annual strategic business plan which includes the sales & distribution and trade marketing activities and logistics & financial plans. Prepare the financial budget for the year, in consultation with the management and product marketing team
2. Manage on a daily basis the work of the sales team (Lagos & branches) in planning and executing the yearly distribution plan. Train, develop and motivate regularly the national sales teams to ensure a high quality effective and efficient distribution. Review the daily/weekly/monthly reports prepared by the Area Sales managers and On-premise manager and give constructive feedback.
3. Ensure the daily/weekly/monthly sales targets are met. Identifies and analyses all opportunities to improve quality distribution and efficacies.
4. Train, develop, motivate and manages the National Sales team, including the branches.
5. Implement Company policy in all matters and hire, disciplinary issues and terminations. Responsible for identifying new talents, interviewing candidates and ensuring that the organization is fully staffed, at all time.
6. Manage the logistics out, by identifying that delivery vehicles are moving at efficient load, weight and classification with proper stock invoiced to salesperson.
7. Monitor trade feedback by visiting retail outlets regularly to insure proper display and product line stocking is on hand, review complaints and investigate
8. Ensure quality standards within the organization. Responsible for a clean and safe working condition of the facility and vehicles. Provide clean and safe working condition of the warehouse, office and vehicles.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1. 7 to 10 years of experience in sales & distribution management of FMCG
2. Strong communication skills
3. Strong FMCG distribution and market know how (minimum 5yrs in Nigeria)
4. People understanding, motivation and management skills
5. Developed negotiation skills and strong presentation skills
6. Computer literacy: Microsoft office is a must
7. Languages: English is a must; a local Nigerian language is a plus.

II. Job Title: On-Premise Manager

Purpose of the Job:
Develop the On-Premise channel within the country by growing both volume & image through proper execution of the availability, visibility & brand standards. This involves the ability to increase customer base through continuous development, coaching and training of the team, developing the alternative channel and catering for the aggressive marketing calendar and activation programs.

Key Activities:
Objective Setting & Planning

1. Set clear objectives that are consistent with the brand direction & goals within each team member
2. review progress vs. objectives at weekly meetings, quarter reviews, mid-year & end reviews
3. Set & agree with the management on annual sales & distribution, development, marketing activities & events targets and budget planning by customer & activity.
Tracking measures and Problem Solving
4. Follow up on the territory sales development on a daily basis
5. Provide ongoing feedback to the team
6. provide monthly contracts & budget tracking updates
7. Secure monthly routes & operational reports update: This includes route plans, OWO data base, POSM master plan, event plan & On-Premise events calendar.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing & sales management
2. Strong communication skills
3. Strong planning and project management know how
4. Strong analytical skills, solutions provider
5. People understanding, motivation and management skills
6. Computer literacy: Microsoft office is a must
7. Languages; English is a must; a local Nigerian language is a plus
