They all claim that the running cost is high which in my opinion is not a valid reason. Hotels in the UK are subjected to high taxes and bills are also high but they are still affordable and manage to provide a good quality of service. Like all Naija ventures, we like to exploit ourselves, its not surprising that the hotels are capitalizing on that.

Expenses including running generator ( cost n maintenance ), security, are way higher in Nigeria. Besides they are more vulnerable to fraud and deceipt from employees.
