Immigration officers have been confronted by a group of women protesting at "heavy-handed" raids.

Footage shows members of the Southall Black Sisters chanting at two men from the UK Border Agency (UKBA) in West London.

Using megaphones, they chant "UKBA, go away," as the two men try to reason with them before eventually giving up.

'We don't want your reasons, we don't want your lies', the women chanted
Southall Black Sisters, a not-for-profit organisation set up in 1979, works with black and minority ethnic women.

In recent days, raids and spot checks have sparked anger with reports that non-white people were being "racially profiled".

Doreen Lawrence, the mother of murdered teenager Stephen, also spoke out.

The Home Office also stood accused of enflaming racial tensions by driving vans around London carrying telling illegal immigrants to 'Go Home'.

On Friday, the government announced that 139 suspected illegal immigrants had been arrested, using the hashtag #immigrationoffenders, although none have yet been proved to be living here illegally.
