Hi there. It all depends on what you want to do with your device. If you just answer calls, send sms, do social media then you wont really benefit much from rooting. If you are into installing roms, curious about the workings of your device or want to run specific apps then rooting is essential. Most of the really good apps require root access. I use a galaxy note 2 also and I've rooted it.

no need to root ur fone leave it like dat u can brick(spoil) ur fone in the process of rooting it

Rooting is fairly easy to do. I did mine in under 5 minutes. Sites like xda-developers is a good place to start. People mess up their devices when they rush into it before proper study. I rooted my htc desire s almost three years ago now and its still working fine. I've also helped people do theirs. No big.

My advice 4 u is to leave ur fone like dat,u can spoil ur fone in d process of rooting it,and u will start regretting it later.
Are there any features that ur fone is not offering u?
