In this European off season transfer market, Arsène Wenger has continued to flatter to deceive. He comes to the press knowing the yearnings of the fans for a marquee signing, makes empty promises and ultimately delivers nothing. Is it a wonder that all his realistic transfer targets have ended up in other teams while he continues to waste him time in highly improbable deals such as Suarez and rooney. Does he really think he has the financial clout/muscle to pull off such a transfer? First it was higuain who now stars for Napoli, then Bernard who eventually transferred to shaktar donesk now it's Gustavo who this morning reportedly made the transition from bayern Munich to VFL Wolfsburg. Is it that Arsène has lost the charisma and charm to come through for his own fans?
