The wedding ceremony between Hon Rotimi
Makinde and his lover, Oyebanke Oyelami,
took place on today (Saturday) in Osun State
amid pomp and pageantry. Makinde, a
Yoruba actor-turned politician and also a
divorcee, walked down the aisle with his new
bride, a beauty queen in Osun State.

Friends and family members of the new
couple were in attendance. Makinde’s
colleagues at the National Assembly as well
as those from his former constituency,
Nollywood, stormed the venue of the
ceremony to honour the lawmaker, who is
taking another shot in the institution of
marriage.

We gathered that security at the event venue
is tight and invited guests are enjoying
themselves as Abass Akande Obesere and Sir
Shina Peters are on the bandstand to add
colour to the ceremony with good music.
