When you are genuinely born of GOD,having HIS seed REMAINING in you,you can live through not even a single day without sinning but everyday. (1st John 3:9) that is where the daily study of the Word lends a helping hand in spiritual growth and covering up voids contrary forces might want to exploit. And again it is written in Jn 1:12 that BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM,TO THEM GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD,EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME.God bless and strenghten us all.

sin is no longer an issue for the child of God. The scripture God showed me today is romans 5:20, where sin abounds, Grace abounds much more. No matter the temptation that comes your way i want you to know three things
1) You wouldn't be tempted more than you can bear (God himself makes sure of this)
2) For every temptation God would provide a way of escape for you........1cor 10:13
3) And there's so much Grace available to you to help you win against sin.........Rom 5:20
4) And if you fall into any sin, you have to believe and receive the finished work of Christ, as he personally is your lawyer/advocate and he would clear your name off any wrong doings. So you dont have to remain in the sin or be bound in guilt. Repent (confess the sin and turn away from it) of the sin get out of the sinful condition right there and then and receive Gods ready made forgiveness by faith.....1Jn 1:9

It depends. Is looking at a woman's yansh a sin? Because I cant go a day without committing lookery. On the Tube, road, work. Sometimes I think its a curse. God help me.

Sin is going against what God order us to do. We followed God's law n anytime we go against it is a sin.

To all those saying: going without sinning a day is impossible, u make me laugh. Reason: u make God a liar. U, an 'ordinary' human being, look d 'extra-ordinary' God and tell him to shut His mouth. If God, d All knowing God, didnt think it possible, would He av commanded it? D scripture is filled with passages calling us to 'sinlessness' and holiness, and some people come here to question d Ancient of days. Na wa!

That's how yhu are white-washed, and yhu name it "impossible" wheras God said all things are possible if u believe...

We all know that most times b4 we sin, we know . . .and we chose to sin. Buh sometimes and mostly the fewest of all times, we sin unknowingly.

And we sin unknowingly only when we aint born again... That's when we are still slave to sin. Buh when we are born anew, we are delivered from all forms of unknowingly sins and from the devil.

Which means we are now faced with temptations... To test our faith. This instance is that, yhu would face the two options "sin or don't sin" and yhu then choose from the two. Most atimes it's so tragedious that we just decide to sin, some we did out of self confidence... Proving our sins right instead of confessing, and that's a great sin also.

So my point, as a ba christain yhu can chose not to sin for as number of days, weeks, years yhu can keep clean... Of which it depends on yhur grace and what yhu spend yhur time doing most. If yhu spend most of yhur time in the church good then. If yhu spend most of yhur time with bad friends or peer groups thats urs too. That's why most born again christains av few friends and spend most of their time alone or with christain pals or fellowship when in school.

So it depends on yhu. Like yhu now @op.. Yhu may av alot of friends, good and i don't know. . .of which i'm sure ain't that "churchy and religious" . . Or lemme say born again... Yhu may play ball with the public, watch match with a crowd too....with all this how do yhu think yhu'd be without sin?

So when yhu wanto be a good christain witawt blemish... Stay away from worldly things, even "nairalanding" self would shake yhur faith talkless of other concrete funs with the crowd.

Finally, its possible if yhu want it ...even in months. (buh that doesn't mean yhu won't pray for forgivenes for unknowing sins . . .or washing with the blood, because yhu can't be too clean for Christ )

Born again or no born again, there is no way we can go a day without sinning, dats why wen we pray, we ask God to forgive us the sins we commit knowingly and unknowingly. We lie toomuch these day.sometimes we try to convince ourselves they are not sin,backbitting,unforgiven spirit,jealousy.we even commit sin wen we sleep a whole day because the bible condems idleness and lazyness in the book of proverbs. So anyone who say they can't commit sin a whole day is a liar and also making God a liar.

Yes. Read and meditate Gods Word strongly and then pray very well before the day activities. Talk less, and trust God to do the rest as you keep thinking on Gods word continuously. It is much very possible. Taste and encourage others with the testimony. Keep thirsting for holiness always and move higher in it. Holy God is Holy.

was it God himself that told you that? That is why i hate the so called 'brother's of God' they never believe they are siners themselves, but all other person are siners, they never accept their blame or misconception about some bible verse too. From what u wrote u'd be a very proud person. What do u mean by 'have gone Two mnths witout sinning'? Even bible clearly states that JESUS is the only man without sin......Everybody is just trying to live a holy life by staying away from sin but it is not possible. There are some sins we would commit as xtians and we wont even know its a sin! It is ur type that wud become a pastor and make your members worship you, because u wud have givn them the mentality that 'my pastor is a sinless man just like Jesus so I have to worship him'

This might sound unbelievable, but I did for over three years, you know I can deceived everybody, but not myself, 1JOHN 3 VS 21-23 Says if our conscience does not condemn us we are justified, all these three years, my conscience could not picked one thing I could considered a sin, within me it is a fact, then I was living and working in a church 24/7, but since I left working in the church, the opposite is the case, every second now, I commit every known and unknown sins, I have been trying to get back to what I was then, it has not been the same, still praying though.
