Nigeria's assistant coach Emmanuel Amuneke admitted that there will be no easy games for his squad at October's Under-17 World Cup in UAE.
The Golden Eaglets have been drawn against defending champions Mexico, Sweden and Iraq for the tournament.
The Nigerians and Brazil are the most successful sides in the history of the event with three wins and three runners-up medals each.
"In the World Cup there are no easy games and there is no easy group," Amuneke told BBC Sport.
"We are looking forward to the challenge. We have to prepare ourselves well.
"The most important thing is that we get ourselves ready psychologically, physically, tactically and mentally - so when the time comes we can face the challenges.
"We start against Mexico, who are a very very strong team. For them to have won the last edition shows that they are consistent.
"But we have to prepare for every team we meet and when the time comes we will think more about each opponent."
Amuneke was also philosophical about MRI scans ruling out several of the squad that played at the African Under-17 Championship in Morocco for being overage.
"When you talk about growth there's nothing anyone can do they have simply matured." Amuneke continued.
"We hope the new ones that we have discovered are able to adapt as quickly as possible.
"We are aware there is not much time but as a coach our responsibility is to do our best to see the new ones can adapt.
"As the games progress they can come up and become much stronger and better players."
Nigeria will begin their Under-17 World Cup campaign on 19 October against Mexico before facing Sweden and finally Iraq.
