What do you call your parents or how do you describing them to your friends? It’s a known fact that people nowadays don’t describe their parent as “my father” or “my mother” neither daddy nor mommy or even papa or mama in public place. They rather use my old man or my old women. Some even use my old boy or my old girl as describing their parents. So many of us are guilty of this all, if not all but majority. Most especially from the south south region and west at large. Now the question has come to nairaland follows, what do you call your parents to your friends? And which of this below do you often use. My Popsy = My Momsy My Old man – My Old Woman My Old boy - My Old Girl My Parle = My Marle Or which other is not on the list? |

I refer to them by the name of my younger ones or myself e.g mama shewa, mama carl,or male, same with my dad however at home my younger ones, cousins and other members of my family refer to me as 'iyawo kekere daddy or iyawo daddy' because we look alike yet fight a lot |
