i have a question about this car tracker.
Word on the street is that they are easy to disable by those experienced car thieves. they say it is just a matter of detecting the cables leading to the battery and the ECU and vola, the tracker and immobilizer can be disabled.
Is this true?

if so what extra precaution does this system offer in term of "tamper proof" in case of car theft?
