We all know that the purpose of building the site is to get traffic that will make us money, but if your site is not well optimize you all your work can be in dash. When getting it properly optimized you want to know where your traffics are coming from, which content is bring in those traffics, what your visitors are clicking on your site, how long they spent on your site, all these are needed to enable you to monetize it.

With the help of Google Analytic and All In One SEO plugin you should be able to monitor your visitors movements and increase your chance of been click on Google Search pages.

Google Analytic helps you determine which country and state your visitors are coming from, how they get to your site either via Social Bookmarking, Social Networking, direct, referral sites.

These information can be used to improve your traffic. Let’s say most of your visitors are coming from http://www.twitter.com then that shows that more consecration needs to be focused on Twitter and less of other source of traffic.

Then if it’s a direct hit, then you need to focus more on your SEO skills to keep retaining the top position that have been bring you those visitors.

Google Analytics also show you which operation system your visitors are using, it may be via mobile devices, Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Opera. If you find out that most of your visitors are using mobile devices to explore your site then that tells that you need to create a mobile version of your site for easy access.

It also shows you the Bounce rate, this information can be use to detect which of the page is increasing your bounce rate to improve on that page so as to reduce the rate. Google uses the bounce rate to determine how long visitors spend on your site.

If visitors leave your site so soon after they land on it, this will increase your bounce rate and it can affect your page ranking. This tells Google that visitors don’t find your site valuable and can de-index or lower your page ranking.

Using the Keyword section to determine which keywords visitors are using to locate your blog, this feature enable you to customize your keywords properly when writing your articles. That why proper keyword research is very important when doing article marketing.

Let’s discuss briefly about All In One SEO, the plugin when setup properly attract visitors to click on your link on Google search. The plugin is self explanatory, when you first build your site I think it’s one of the first plugin everyone will install first.

The “Title’ section should consist of the title of your blog and this should include your main keyword say you are in the dog niche and your main keyword is “Dog Training” then you can have something like how to train a dog, discription should a phrase or sentence that include keyword closely similar to your main keyword e.g. “Learn how to stop your dog from biting” or “Discover how to get rid of aggressive behavior in dog”, hope you get the gist.

While in the keyword section add all keywords that are related to your main keyword using Google Keyword Tool. Once all these are in place click “save” or “update” and you are done.

When you implement these two tools above you can be sure to start seeing some good deal of traffic to your site. It’s important that you promote your most valuable pages to bring in more visitors and $$$ in return.

Remember if you don’t take ACTION nothing will happen, so go out there and start putting what you have learn into ACTION. Hope you find this article useful? Click “Like” and “Share” it to your friends that it will be of help to and they will thank you for it.
