The weather is cold, but he doesn't mind that. He's perfectly at ease in his home, where he sees himself as the rightful landlord, safe and isolated from a world full of mad men.

Well ,but even madmen have their uses, come to think of it, as they have over the years built his home for him — albeit unwittingly -by depositing what they see as refuse and wastes there. Looking around this place where he sees himself as the rightful landlord, he feels very much like the freeman he believes himself to be, free from the follys of the world's mad men.

He then sighted a couple of pigs that shares his home with him, they do irritate him sometimes but he prefers their company to that of mad men. He doesn't mind how his home smalls — he doesn't mind anything at all, being the Freeman he believes himself to be. He guessed that he smells the same way as his home, well all the better.

He thought about the foolishness of the world's madmen. He just couldn't understand why they keep doing things like bathing and washing their garments regularly. Why should a man bath only to do so again and again? Why should they bother with washing their clothes, only to have it dirty and needing to be washed again and again? Why should a man take pains to brush his teeth when he can just leave it as it is. Well as for him,he doesn't bother about those things,as the Freeman he believes himself to be. He actually prefers not wearing any clothing at all! He is content with being the way he came into the world. Why all the unnecessary superfluousness, he wonders.

Those madmen bound themselves with many stupid rules all in the name of etiquette. They are careful not to speak unless there's someone to speak to. They don't laugh unless there's another madman close to either be the subject or the object of the laughter so as not to considered mad by other madmen. Well he's a Freeman and is free to think out very loud when he walks in the streets. He's free to laugh at his own jokes, but mainly at the foolishness of those lunatics that consider themselves wise.

Those clowns worry and fret over nothing and everything. They worry about their whelps, and he wonders why they gave birth to them in the first place - well, they are mad, he told himself. They fret and fidget about things not turning out to be as they expected and are they are afraid of the future. Why are man should disturb himself about tomorrow,he just couldn't understand. Well, he's a Freeman, and doesn't bother about tomorrow, how could it possibly be different from today?

Deep in his meditation,he noticed two little madmen walking past his home. They looked at him with those little mad eyes of theirs that seem to mock him for not being part of their madness. He immediately felt like curing their madness, and being the Freeman he believes himself to be and and being able to do exactly what he feels like doing unlike those madmen that have to check with their etiquette as to know what to consider proper, he pursues and quickly caught up with them. He then dealt good blows to their madness, tore their clothes and made sure they looked very much like himself. He left them crying and returned to his home laughing and feeling very pleased with himself. O yes, this is exactly the kind of sports that he very much enjoys!
