For you to have a trustworthy relationship with someone, you have to be friends first – mayb it's d friendship that u miss dearly. Not knowing each other well enough gives u all d answers @ d back of ur maths text book to cheat.

My motto has always been that we absolutely need to take care of our self first before we can take care of another. If we are all messed up inside, full of bitterness and resentment towards our unfaithful spouse, we certainly cannot forgive them. The same applies with love. Don’t we need to love ourselves first before we can love another?

There are three people involved in this poem:

I - the guy
you - his  girlfriend
she - another girl(friend)

The guy was cheating his girlfriend and he had expected that the girl with whom he had this other relationship would keep it a secret. I guess he does not really regret what he has done but that his wrongdoing has been revealed.
