A 300mbps (3 X 100mbps) wireless equivalent to thrice the cat5 speed is enough for communication, on the LAN side there is a 4port gigabit switch, a gigabit wan port and a USB port either for a storage device to be used as a network storage or for converting a non network printer to a network printer without a print server. These features are ideal at a reduced price it is being sold.

But for experienced network engineer this router can be turned to a super router by firmware upgrade to dd-wrt. The methods can be found on internet through google or other search engines.
