then many of the women will qualify for that if five pillar of islam are practices, that is the most common basic tenet of Islam. I think you should also put some Qualification of the women you're looking for, brother.

not my business, but i think its a bad idea to run the pursuit of a wife as if you're shopping for an item in the supermarket. You could start by doing what some of us do down here - frequent the american version of nasfat in your community.you'll probably find some muslim sisters there( one of the jokes about nasfat is that a large number of the younger members are simply there to hunt for spouses.

be warned though, its easy for a woman who is not religious in the slightest to don a veil and 'form' hajia (ditto for guys) . be careful what you wish for - you might end up with someone who is muslim in name only.

There is abslutely nothing wrong in it as long as you do everything within the confines of islam.
