Job Title: Information Technology Support Assistant
Locations: Lagos
A service industry company requires an experienced person to fill this position
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
• The I.T. assistant is responsible for providing day to day IT support for staff and clients of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To trouble shoot and resolve hardware and software issues on workstations and computer peripherals.
• To troubleshoot and resolve networking problems on both wired and wireless network.
• To troubleshoot and resolve issues on voice networking (PABX system).
• To carry out maintenance practice on power back up (inverter).
• To provide day to day activity report to the IT administration.
• To identify and escalate risk issue to the IT administrator.
• To suggest new ideas/innovations that will improve IT operation.
• To carry out installation and operational training on new technology project (devices).
• To oversee and inspect technical work done by external contractors.
• Perform other related duties as required

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
*Candidate must have a minimum of BSc, HND or OND in: Computer science/computer engineering.
Any Microsoft certification in Operating system and Networking certification (CWNA or CWSP).
Other certifications in hardware installation and repair.

EXPERIENCE
Experience and Skills required: 2years or more in software and hardware engineering, networking and telephone systems.
