In terms of teams' style of play (open attacking football, ultra-defensive or 'in-between'), which world cup, in your opinion, was the most exciting and boring to watch since you started watching football?

For me the most exciting is a tie between France 98 and Korea/Japan 2002. Most teams at those tournaments came out to play football, instead of just parking an A380 .
The most boring was the last world cup in 2010. There, only a handful of team actually came to play, the others were more content to camp all 10 outfield players in their own half.

France vs Brazil 1998 and France vs Italy 2006 were probably the best World Cup matches I've watched. I'm not sure what the most boring is.

If you're referring to the quality of play then i'll also go with Korea/Japan and France 98 where there was sorta a level playing field as far as quality was concerned. The 2010 world cup was one of the most predictable and i also really didn't like the aura. I hate the noise of vuvuzelas

I actually liked the vuvuzela, it gave a unique feel to the 2010 event. But I agree with u that the 98 and 02 world cups were superb in terms of quality of play. There were just a handful of 'boring' games in those tournaments.

Yeah, they were unique and that world cup will be remembered for that but those vuvuzelas were deafening and even the players complained about them.

My most exciting world cup so far was France 98 and Korea/japan 2002 while my most boring was Italia 90 What a Horror show
