What baffles me is me greeting my parents/elders after they must have eaten EVEN when i did not partake in the meal.. ...how many of you still do it? Do you have a particular reason for doing it. |

One of the funny aspects of our culture. I'm expected to say "Thank you, ma/sir", to any elderly relative who happens to be around when I finish a meal.... Even when he didn't pay for the meal, or assist in any way in preparing it. |
