Chelsea's Lukaku Loan Move To Everton Could Be Mourhinho's Greatest Mistake by wandevincent(m): 8:27am On Oct 01, 2013
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's decision
to send Romelu Lukaku could be his biggest
mistake - but Everton are reaping the
rewards.
Romelu Lukaku was described by Everton
manager Roberto Martinez as "unplayable" in his
team's 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at
Goodison Park, and it was hard to disagree.
The Belgium international scored twice and
provided an assist for youngster Ross Barkley, and
his acquisition by Everton on a season long loan
already looks one of the best signings of the
summer.
Lukaku, who is just 20 years-old, has only made
one substitute appearance and a single start in a
Toffees kit, but has three goals and an assist to
his name.
Whilst Lukaku's considerable physique has earned
him comparisons with Chelsea legend Didier
Drogba, he is far more than just a battering ram
in front of goal.
The main benefit of playing with a big man up top
is that there is always an outlet in attack.
Lukaku's height enable him to win the ball in
aerial duels, and his natural strength means he is
highly capable of holding the ball up until others
can get forward.
His dribbling ability too is grossly underrated, and
he is beginning to play with his head up - as can
be witnessed by his wonderful assist for Barkley
this evening.
Another loan period at West Bromwich Albion
resulted in 17 Premier League goals in just 20
starts, and there appeared little doubt Lukaku
was ready to succeed Drogba in the Chelsea
attack.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho brought him on as a
substitute in three games before electing to allow
him to depart on a temporary basis on transfer
deadline day, and Everton are taking full
advantage.
Chelsea, however, are not, and it now appears
that Mourinho's best striker is not available to him
for the remainder of the season

Note:am not a chelsea fan but loaning out lukaku is the best help he can get from the coach,Lukaku is not yet a starting material at chelsea, hes not yet matured Enough to lead chelsea attack,Hes better playing for a young and average team like Everton and also liverpool would have been a nice choice also but i see him leaving chelsea soon,No matter how Good he plays i dont see him benching or starting ahead of shurrle,Etoo and Torres anytime soon

I completely disagree with you!
How can you call everton an average team? Do you know that this Team is unbeaten in the premier league? They are currently fourth In the league .
So how do you qualify such a team An Average team?

Also you say Lukaku is not Mature enough to lead Chelsea attack? Are You trying to tell me that Torres of the past two seasons has a. better goal scoring record than Lukaku? If Lukaku had played the same number of games that Torres had played, do you think that Lukaku will have the same few number of goals that Torres have? Never! because Lukaku will have scored three times the number of goals that Torres have scored for Chelsea in the past two seasons whether you like it or not!

My opinion is that Mourhino is only after established names( Torres, Eto, Schurrle ) and not after Young Agile players like Lukaku, Victor Moses, Demba Ba and the likes.
Honestly, I myself don't even understand Mourhino as a Coach because some of his decisions are so wrong that you begin to think he has a problem that can't be easily diagnosed by even a sports psycholgist.

Been fourth in the current EPL doesnt mean u will end up as 4th at the end of season, everton is always an average team, they are known to always finish below the top 4 but now below the top 5,Secondly Scoring 50 goals for an average team is totally different from playing in a big team, theres always pressure in a team like chelsea,Lukaku was also known for scoring Penalty regularly for west Brom last season but at The UEFA super cup he lost his pk,Y? he couldnt withstand the pressure,i can name 50 players who perform at an average team but couldnt make it in a big team one notable example is andy carroll from newcastle to liverpool and now to westham where hes now scoring regularly,Mourinho has is own personal demons but the likes of Etoo, torres and shurrle are more experience than Lukaku And another prob is the pattern of the team games,If mourinho could bench Mata and ignore Demba,u have to know his own game is diff

It's amazing how Lukaku plays well for other teams, but flops when it comes to Chelsea.

This is how to know a Blindfolded Chelsea fans. Not ready to face the truth! Whether you like it or not Lukaku will have done better than Torres of this Season and Last Season combined together in Chelsea if Lukaku was given the Same playing time like Torres had played. Also you cannot judge a player by the Penalty kicks he misses .Any player on Earth can miss a penalty kick any time, any day. Ask Ballotelli and he will tell you more .

Who needs Lukaku when we have goal machines like Oscar, Hazard and Frank Lampard?
