For those of you who thought he was going into retirement, that’s not the case. Ruggedman has come back harder than ever in this hard hitting Rap track ‘8-Figures’.
It’s good to see that Ruggedman is still able to deliver each and every time he comes back. I guess this is what he meant in his monster classic hit “Baraje” when he said “I blend with the trend/stay forever like Vulture”, because in this collabo with Reminisce produced by Beniesmusic, Ruggedman again shows he can kick it with the reigning trend of music. This track is definitely set to put Ruggedman back in tough with his fans.
When asked ‘Why the title 8-Figures?’ his reply was simple. My bank account is 7 but I’m tryna reach 8-Figures!!!

Nice idea but the execution is not that good.

I like the beat and how the chorus blended with it but I don't really like Reminisce, I feel he was just all over and trying to understand what he should do.

Rugged should have gone solo here and also tried to go a little bit more hard on this one.

Ruggedman is a music legend in Nigeria whether haters like it or not. Dis rap/lyrical genius has been on d scene for quite a while now and his classic deliveries have refused to age or fade. D revolution he brought to the Nigerian hiphop in particular and the Nigerian music in general will remain imprinted on d everlasting sand of time. If u check history, u'll be reminded Ruggedybaba was d Moses dt led Nigerans out of the music wilderness they were some years ago. Pls accept this sallute of mine on this new joint of urs dude! Dis surely surpasses all figure 8z I know.

Did not have the time to read the bickerings..but the battle beat was good. Reminisce's second verse was ill when he sped up the words with the beat.
In my opinion..they murdered the beat and did it rap and rhyme justice. Given this same beat I wouldn't have thought of any other way but to follow the beat with the same pattern.
Don't know who cooked the beat, but men the guy would have been high on "kpoli" or something or low from "Kpoli" or something. Something must have been involved. Ha ha ha..
