Gionee has quietly released another device Gpad G3. The phablet is now available GPad G3 is the latest member of the company's GPad line-up, which already includes GPad G1 and GPad G2. The phablet comes with 5.5-inch display with 480x854 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The GPad G3 sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash alongside a VGA front-facing camera. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby.

The GPad G3 includes 1GB of RAM and comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. The Gionee GPad G3 includes 2250mAh battery and measures 157.3x79.3x9.6mm. Connectivity options on the phablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and 3G.

The expected price of this phone should be between #21 to #23.

Bro the price will still be a bit cheaper than that. These are my reason,

Gionee P2 is 6999rupees =174975N (at exchange rate of 2.5 naira) but P2 is sold for 15K at most.

Gionee G2 is 13990rupees = 34975N (at exchange rate 2.5 ) but G2 is sold for 32K roughly.

E3 is 14999ruppes = 37497.5 (at exchange rate of 2.5N) but the E3 is sold for 33K -34K at most.

So now from my above deduction and hpothesis i do guaranty u that the

Gionee G3 which is 9699Rupees = 24247.5N (exchange rate of 2.5N). will be around 22K in nigeria.

yeah...I could've gone for the E3 or E5 but I just can't use a device that's smaller than 5.3 inches.....when you've used a large screen device it's really difficult to go back to a smaller screen.... that's why I chose to get the G2......it has better specs...and the battery is awesome... that's the main reason I went for it

because the is wallet friendly phone, the price of the phone in India is 8,800R to 9,800, and P2 is around 6,880R, so do the arithmetics, and you be able to know that it the price should be around #21 #23

I totally agree with you on screen size. I used a 5" phone last, since then i just cant dream of using something smaller. I wont just be comfortable.

So for me its either 5" and above or no fone. Lol!!!

Nice phone.. but the display would be poor... check out that resolution compared to that screen size.. and am not a lover of big screens too.. 4.3" is ok...

Gionee has really gone far,I googled "gionee p2" and I was surprised to see their phones on phonearena and other (international)popular sites,I was like wtf!

...even p2 has 16M colours,and has firmware updates via OTA,those guys has really tried.

I wish "T" should do something too.

the GPU is great!!! as it will be powering fewer pixels than 720p displays. but resolution could have been qHD at least. but anyway its a good budget device if it comes for less than N25k
