President Jonathan on Sunday assembled Nigerians at the Banquet Hall, State House, Presidential Villa Abuja for Pre- Centenary National Praise And Thanksgiving Service.

The event witnessed high profile and electrifying praises with performance from notable national and international gospel artists like Frank Edward, Hope Davies, Judy Jacobs and Kurt Carr. The atmosphere of worship at the auditorium was not far from what the country needed at this time with regards to the web of insecurity bedevilling the nation. Prayers were offered for Nigeria especially as the nation remained united irrespective the challenges after 100years of existence.

The service attracted Nigeria's high and mighty in the corridors of power as the president was led in with the senate President David Mark and Deputy Senate President. Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State and Senator Andy were among the presidential train at the church service.

Also conspicuously present were the Miss Ambassador For Peace Team with Queen Irene Onwuka, MAFP Queen and Queen Ashley Mariam yusuf MAFP South- South looking gracious in complete queenly regalia. Face Of Democracy Nigeria pageant team led by Its coordinator Mr Fajag seated live at the event. Alex Nwankwo of Glees Media was pronounced at the pre- centenary praise centre as the only online media outfit amongst other media powerhouses that beam the event lived on national and international TV stations
