Extract and flash through odin.

if you are rooted, you will lose your root and will need to re-root, if this is the case just flash cwm recovery through odin, then download super su(for 4.2.2 this time). you can then flash the super su with cwm recovery.

Don't forget to wipe cache partition and davik cache after flashing.

yes back up your rom in case of any damage like brick or data loss.

you can do that in clockwork mod recovery by clicking on backup and and restore, then backup.

once you have done this, you are on a safer side.

u must be rooted n ofcourse have cmw recovery...to boot into custom recovery press volumeup+power+homebutton once u r in cmw recovery scroll down n select backup n restore den click on backup...make sure u have at least 4gb of free memory on ur ext sd card

Set xperia launcher as default if prompted to, you can clear default back to touch wiz if you are tired of it.

Note 3 file manager ported to my galaxy grand.

I recommend for android 4.2.2 users, it didn't work well for me when on 4.1.2.

Flash with cwm recovery.

If it doesn't work or make no difference, backup the sec.myfiles.apk in system/app using root explorer to locate, then delete it and reflash with cwm. it would work.

It better than the 4.1.2 file manager and below, it can zip and unzip files, it also give info about memory usage. advanced file manager I tell you.
