they end up teaching in secondary or primary schools...way too many biochemists...my biology teacher in sec.school was a biochemist...bitter,sad,depressed guy...nd dy earn peanuts

i read biochemistry but i think u are right but writing jamb again may nt b d last optn 4 those that av graduated like in my own case i fnishd in d year 2006 and up til 2010 i cldnt get any job so dcided to go 4 my m.sc where i did pharmaceutical xmistry and wc i tnk holds more chance of getting job in d pharmaceutical industry and even as a lecturer. There is also this course called phytomedicines wc simply deals wit derivatn, formulatn and usage of herbal drug in treating diseases, biochemists are also allowed to take this course at m.sc. level. this course particularly holds a lot wit the rate at wc pple are going 4 herbal drugs to cure some of these diseases where orthodox drugs has failed.

guy dat u didnt find work dosnt mean every body will end up like you.....many bsc in bochem are working in oil firm and pharmaceutical company, health and so many places

.plz dnt discourage any wit unrealistic and untrue statement.u dnt knw anytin abou d labour market so u cant say.u cn work in food industries,pharmaceutical ind.,research labs oil firm(major nd very relevant.we mostly deal wit organic chemistry.u knw oil is made up of catenated carbon compounds)paint industries,hospitals(we deal wit chemical reactions in livin tissues,we work hand in hand wit surgeon to carry out blood sample tests b4 operatn)paternity issues(genetic engineering) many more which we wil discus lata.just go to a reputable skul nd av a gud grade u cn defend.u are beta by far.
