honestly 10 spots is small, if this is d case why would they say pple across the 36 state shld apply and they know that they are awarding only 10. sometimes I weep for this country, they would make pple to spent their little savings and won't get anything in return. they shld have specifically zoned the scholarship to a particular region rather than inviting applicants across the country since de wil take only 10 out of thousands that have applied hmmmmmm.

Though 10 is small, but if u look at last year's winners, they made sure each branch of discipline got a spot.... 1 for engineering, science, business, IT, etc. So practically I am competing with so many others for only a spot cos am in the business discipline.

If you consider the benefits received by each recipient of the award then you must admit that 10 awards of scholarship is really remarkable. Money no be fire wood. However I believe there will be an increase from last year though I don't see it being more than 20.

let's hope they will increase number this time.

This is nlng we are talking about and british council might I add it's unacceptable
Surely the British council can get some bursary from the uk universities to reduce the total burden on nlng

If the 10 slots is open to applicants from the 36 states,it would have been fair enough because these scholarships are fully funded scholarships and NLNG is going to be spending nothing less than N8m on a scholar,but actually the thing is if you are not from Bonny or other operational areas of NLNG or Rivers state,apparently you are jostling for just 3 slots which makes the competion very intense.

Please help out a bro. I submitted my app for the nnlg scholarship yesternite and i got a confirmation mail that my applicatn has bn received. This evng, i got this infamous msg that the recepient's mail box is full and cant accept msgs now.

What shld i do? Hope sending another app wont get me disqualified.
