It is so unfortunate that we dont know how to use what we have at our closest. Many people have come out either in the magazines, newspapers, televisions, cassettes and other means of communication preaching about the parousia which is the second coming of Jesus Christ. How close it is according to the revelation they have received from God.

But brothers, the bible we read explains everything we need to know about this life but our inability to make use of the bible has caused us this gullibility of heart.

According to 2Thessalonians 2:1-5. It reads: NOW WE BESEECH YOU, BRETHREN, BY THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND BY OUR GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM, THAT YOU BE NOT SOON SHAKEN IN MIND, OR BE TROUBLED, NEITHER BY SPIRIT, NOR BY WORD, NOR BY LETTER AS FROM US, AS THAT DAY OF CHRIST IS AT HAND.

3. LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS FOR THAT DAY SHALL NOT COME, EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, AND THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, THE SON OF PREDICTION.

you can read further but the essence is to let you know that St. Pauls was telling the congregation not to be deceive by anyone with any rumour about the second coming of Jesus Christ.

DISCLAIMER: I am not here to refute about the second coming of Jesus Christ but rather to console the trembling heart to look forward to that day with expectation and not fear.

Very true @ op, we dont look to that day in fear but out of great expectation. The bible says eyes have not seen, ears have not heard n neither has it entered the heart of man that which the Lord God has in store for us.

For me I long for that day with great anticipation n excitement, I believe the feeling would be out of this world!
