God has wonderful plan for marriage.That is why established marriage. The essence of marriage is to demonstrate God’s plan. There are principles that make marriage work.

Principles that make marriage works (Genesis 2:24) is called Leaving and Cleaving
The man is expected to leave his parents.Both of them are to cleave to each other. Violation of this principle is the cause of challenges facing young couples today

1. Over expectations from each others. The time of courtship is filled with all of courtesy but as soon as the veil is lifted…the reality sets in.

2. Financial crisis due to sinful or extravagant living. If a partner is living in wanton sin, it may bring drain on the family wallet or finance.

2. Spouse should read bible and pray together
3. Spouse should take interest in what his or spouse like eg supporting the foot club the husband is supporting or political party
Spouse must give up themselves and enjoy each other in sex
