Keshi paid two months' salary Keshi: Still owed around N25million The Nigerian Football Federation have confirmed they have paid national team coach Stephen Keshi two of the seven months' salary he is owed. The Super Eagles tactician had not received a salary since April of this year due to financial constraints within the various departments at the NFF. However, organisation spokesman Ademola Olajire has revealed the tactician has now received a portion of the N35million due to him, and says the FKF are working hard at resolving the situation. He said: "We have made a quick effort to sort part of his (Keshi's) arrears. We are working extremely hard to pay the coach the rest as soon as possible." Olajire added: "The financial situation of the NFF caused the delay. It is not an excuse; it is a consequence of the financial reality." |

Only two months? But isn't the team and the nff generating enough money to sort out the financial crisis  Well even without the basic, keshi's bonuses is far more than the salary. That doesn't mean he should be owed cos if it was a foreign coach with no achievement he won't be owed. 2 Likes |
